The photographic exhibition ‘Guarda te’ (Look at you), organised by Fondazione San Zeno with photos by Tiziano Zatachetto (aka Zatac), was created to give space to those gazes that cross borders and cultures, stopping for a moment to tell who we are and who we could become. At the centre of the project are 22 of the 38,333 foreigners resident in Verona whom we have not yet met.

Each student brings with them a world of languages, roots, crossings. In schools and universities, these worlds meet, intertwine, transform.
‘Guarda te’ was created precisely to give space to this dialogue, to question what it means to belong, to cross borders, to inhabit several cultures.
With this exhibition, we want to offer students a look that concerns them closely, because the future is built by recognising oneself in the other.
Because university and school are the perfect places to build, together, a future without barriers

The exhibition is promoted by: University of Verona, International Development Cooperation. in collaboration with Gruppo Radici dei Diritti of the University of Verona and Fondazione San Zeno.
