Opening on Saturday, December 13 at the Civic Library, the exhibition features the illustrations of Francesca Gastone, the artist behind the 2026 Foundation San Zeno calendar.

Since 1999, Fondazione San Zeno has supported more than 1,500 initiatives in Italy, Africa, Asia and Latin America, driven by a simple yet radical belief: every individual carries within themselves the seed of growth, redemption and freedom. This is why we commit to supporting schools where students and teachers can grow and feel inspired; employment paths built on each person’s abilities; and environments that restore dignity and autonomy. Standing alongside those who, every day, create real opportunities.

The 2026 calendar is born from this perspective. It does more than mark the passing of time: it invites us to open spaces, cultivate encounters and recognize the beauty that emerges when everyone can let their own light shine.
The theme chosen for this edition is equal opportunities, conceived as a place to inhabit — a space free of barriers, where each person can express themselves, choose and participate.

The exhibition, set up in Sala Nervi, concludes with a presentation of Fondazione San Zeno and the main projects supported in 2024.

Francesca Gastone
An architect and illustrator, after years spent between São Paulo and Hong Kong she now lives and works in Milan, where she weaves together memory and a contemporary gaze. In her collages she combines photography, analog and digital elements, transforming fragments of reality into imaginary worlds. Here, the human presence — and the way it inhabits space — becomes a story suspended between concreteness and dream.
